    Aviva cover the recovery costs or ransom payment if a hacker holds your business to ransom or threatens to reveal sensitive data until a ransom is paid.
  • Virus, Hacking and Denial of Service
    Data recovery costs* if your computer network or website is damaged by a virus, hacking or denial of service attack. If your computer equipment is insured by Aviva they will repair or replace damaged hardware too.
  • Business Interruption
    Covers the financial side of things*, and to help you get back up and running. Cover automatically includes your loss of revenue should your IT supplier suffers a cyber attack too.

  • Data Privacy and Confidentiality
    Cover to defend and settle third-party claims in relation to failing to safeguard either personal or confidential commercial data.
    The policy can pay defence costs* and regulatory fines associated with a breach of Data Protection Regulation if its insurable by law.
