To help smooth your accounting processes and give you all the data you need in one place, you can now seamlessly integrate your business bank account with your accounting software via Business Internet Banking*.

  • Integrate your Business Bank Account statement data with your accounting software package
  • The service will automatically provide your most recent banking activity to enable you to reconcile your accounts
  • Initially, you'll need to be using Sage or Xero cloud accounting software to use this service**
  • You can access a user guide on Business Internet Banking to guide you through the set-up process.

How to set up bank feeds
You need to be logged in to Business Internet Banking to use this service. To link your business bank account with your accounting software, select the ‘Manage Bank Feed' button on the Account Overview screen within Business Internet Banking and follow the on-screen prompts.  Once you have completed the set-up process, HSBC will start sending bank feed data within three working days to your accounting software provider.

* Service is initially available to customers using Xero or Sage accounting software, you can connect current, savings and foreign currency accounts
** Providers can provide further information on settings and pricing. To use the Sage Bank Feeds service, you must be using one of the following Sage products: Sage One Start, Sage One Accounting, Sage Live (version 68.18.0 or later), Sage 50c with Office 365 subscription (version 23.2 or later), Sage 200c Professional (version 2017 or later), Sage 200c Standard
