Jonathan has over 25 years’ of banking experience, working in London and Europe. He joined HSBC in 2014 after 10 years at RBS where he was previously Head of UK Corporates in the Global Banking and Markets Division. He has worked at Credit Agricole within its UK Investment Bank and at Societe Generale as a Director in the Telecoms, Media & Technology division.
As Head of Large Corporates in UK, along with Coverage, Jonathan is also responsible for Real Estate Finance, Infrastructure and Energy, Sustainability & UK Ring fenced Global Network Bank.

Caroline has 25 years experience in banking and professional services and joined HSBC UK in 2010. She is ACA qualified and previously worked overseas in China and Europe before moving to work with corporates and private equity at Deloitte in their UK M&A/Debt Advisory business. She has extensive experience in supporting clients with their complex financing needs across both the mid market and large corporate space. Caroline now leads the HSBC Large Corporate Coverage business for the North, Scotland and Midlands.

Cora McLaren joined HSBC in September 2012 and commenced her current role as Managing Director for Large Corporates, London and South, in August 2025. In this capacity, Cora leads a team of corporate banking professionals, partnering with HSBC clients to expand domestically and globally, utilising HSBC’s extensive international network and capabilities. With over 25 years in the financial sector, Cora's previous roles include leading the International Corporate Banking team in the UK, managing transformation programmes across 18 Asia Pacific markets, serving as the Head of Wholesale Banking in Bermuda, and undertaking regional leadership of Corporate and Business Banking teams within HSBC UK. Her career has spanned multiple geographies, including the UK, India, Bermuda, and Hong Kong.
Prior to her engagement with HSBC, Cora held leadership positions at Lloyds Banking Group and Barclays Bank, where in strategic and frontline customer leadership, product partnership, and operational management.
Cora holds a degree in English and an MSc in Financial Services Management. She is also a keen runner and actively volunteers at a local animal rescue charity.
